Anyone can be a radical giver and, in fact, God demands it of each of us as Christians!
Question: So what can you do to embrace the radical giving cause today?
Answer: Join or start a Radical Giving Ring in your circle of influence
Radical Giving Rings are groups (or rings) of about 10 people who challenge each other to give radically. To that end, participants are asked to pray about what it is that God might have them give up - a planned purchase, a meal, a trip, a month's worth of latte's - and instead give that money through With This Ring to help promote radical giving and dig wells in Africa.
Starting is easy:
- Step 1: Pray about what God might want you to give up.
- Step 2: Become a ring leader and launch a radical giving ring among your friends or join one started by someone you know.
- Step 3: Attend the first meeting to share your commitment with the group.
- Step 4: Do it! Follow through on your decision and write out the check.
- Step 5: Come to the follow-up meeting with your check and the stories of how God used this exercise towards your own spiritual maturity.
